Adrian Aguilera possesses more than 30 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, and Corporate Banking across Mexico, Latin America, and the USA. His expertise in managing high-value deals and navigating the complexities of global markets is evidenced by his successful closure of approximately $3.7 billion dollars in Private Equity and Private Debt deals across all Real Estate sectors.

 

In leadership roles, Aguilera has led the creation and execution of profitable business strategies, demonstrating his abilityto invest, manage, and grow companies in volatile markets. His record encompasses fundraising, investing, business development, financial risk management, and the negotiation of intricate cross-border deals, adding substantial value to his organizations. Adrian Aguilera has an extensive network of contacts that generate off-market investment opportunities, adding a strategic advantage to his comprehensive portfolio of real estate transactions

Through Corvus, Aguilera co-founded in 2009, Vertex Real Estate Investors (VREI) in partnership with Apollo Real Estate Advisors (AREA), serving as Co-Investor, Key Man, Board Member, and Investment Committee Member. He has played a crucial role in equity capital fundraising and managing relationships with institutional investors and external parties. His experience also includes leading the Real Estate Investment Banking division for Mexico at Credit Suisse and managing significant real estate finance transactions at GE-Real Estate. 

 

Aguilera earned an MBA in Finance from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana. Outside his professional life, he enjoys family time, golf, exercise and reading.
